Discovering Barcelona - Desayuno, dia uno
They say January is most depressive month. Well, not neccesarily. That is why I packed my bags and did a little escape from Zagreb’s fog and low temperatures.
It’s been a while since I visited my favorite city so I had to remind myself of just how wonderful Catalonian sun warms up your soul.
Slept longer today and now I’m ready to do some exploring (although I feel at home here)... Started the day at this place called SandwiChez on Passeig de Sant Joan.
Need some vitamines for today’s long walks I plan to do. Green suco is made from fresh apple, celery and cucumber and tastes like heaven. Look!
I also ordered sandwich (that’s what this bar is about) with ham and rucola and some XXL coffee to get boosted.
Have to do some exploring now!

Weekend breaks in Barcelona are the best. I couldn't get used to the really late dinners though...being from North America where we eat at 5-6pm...eating at 9pm or later was murder. :)
You drink a lot of cerveza to forget the hunger :D
