Love him or hate him, its hard to deny what the man has accomplished in combats sports in such a short time. He took the world by storm and ran with it. The man has shaken the world of MMA for the better, showing that there is a possibility of venture out from just the UFC banner. Whether or not someone else will be able to do that is up to fat but McGregor paved the way and continues to do so.

Unless you’re not a person who follows combat sports or you have been living under a rock, the Notorious is coming off the largest payday of his career and possibly outside one or two, the largest ever in combat sports. He lost to Mayweather but if you pull in 100+ million can you really say you lost.

The ones that I feel are losing right now are the people in the division he’s holding up. The lightweights have had some action with Tony Ferguson taking the interim belt, but the UFC has been handling them out like those foam fingers as a baseball game.

The debate has been bouncing back and forth on just what is going to be McGregor’s next move. Personally, I think he’s going to come back for one last bang with Nate Diaz and then ride that money boat into retirement. If he were to fight after that it would only be in boxing for a payday that makes sense for him.

A fight with Tony does make sense though, to unify the belts but really does it matter if he unifies the belts at this point. I am pretty sure McGregor can fight a plastic bag in the parking lot and the guy would make a killing, as well his fans would back him more than ever!

The man has an army behind him, regardless of the path he decides to go.
