Habits equal identity

hello, come back with me tonight, and tonight I want to talk about how easy it is for people to recognize us from what we do every day. If we seek help in a particular situation, deep down, you know who can help you and who can't. This is because we know who they are and you know they are no good and will not be able to help in such a situation. Even if we want to ask them for help, you can simply ask if they know someone who can help you in the situation we are facing. This is because we know what kind of people they are, what they are good at, how they live their lives every day, their identities, and what they stand for.

The same applies to us. We have an identity, know our strengths, and understand our values. Often, our habits define us in ways we may not realize, they shape our identity because the results we achieve in life reflect our actions. As people say, we cannot plant mangoes and expect to harvest rice. Our identity influences the friends you attract and the company you keep. For example, if you smoke, you will most likely be friends with fellow smokers. Likewise, if you like football, you will most likely have friends who share the same interest.

Our habits create our identity and build our beliefs.

If you make going to the gym a habit, people will see you as an athlete. If you make playing a musical instrument a habit, people will see you as a musician. whatever you do, or develop as a habit, you are strengthening yourself in that area. and it becomes your identity. Knowing who you are and what you stand for makes it easier for you to form habits that reflect who you are, because that's how people will see you. For example, if you want to be known as a musician, you should spend more time with musical instruments and people who can sing. Live your life in a way that helps you become a better musician.

Building habits can be a challenge for many people because the habits may not align with their core beliefs. When your actions and beliefs are not aligned, changing habits can be an uphill battle. Your confidence is shaped by the small wins and improvements gained through your habits. If you aspire to be a professional athlete, it's the small wins along the way that grow your belief in yourself. Our habits play an important role in shaping our beliefs and, ultimately, our identity.

Don't play with it
