Sometimes, when the picture we see in situations doesn't look like the promise He gave to us, we tend to worry so much and forget that He is still at work, that He's not yet done with our lives. Sometimes, we experience this amnesia of the soul and forget how great His power is, and He can do anything beyond human power. This certain kind of amnesia comes with spiritual paralysis, just like what happened to Zecharia when he came to doubt of the greatness God can do to Elizabeth and him.
Let us always remember that in every parcel of this Christian life, the Lord does all things for the betterment of all and we just have to simply trust His will because He knows all the best for us.
As we continue on our journey as Christians, may we find it in our hearts the will to embrace metanoia, appreciate charismata and start having a great communion with Him - eucharistia.
