"Let nothing disturb your peace!

"--Not the world in which you are living, rebelling against God, perverted and in the hands of the Evil One. Jesus has already overcome the world.

"--Not the darkened and divided Church, into which have come idolatry and apostasy. Jesus loves his Spouse with a divine love, and in these moments of its purification He is closer to it than ever.

"--Not the disconcerting succession of events, not the persecutions and fratricidal struggles, not the fire and the red scourge that is already spilling out over the world.

"Jesus, risen and alive, is among you!

"He is guiding the vicissitudes of the world and of history, according to the designs of his merciful love, for the salvation of all of his redeemed brothers."
