Although it seems incredible some unusual fish were discovered a few weeks ago, off the coast of Tasmania, southern Australia, which, instead of swimming, walk on the seabed, a species called by scientists as "red-handed fish or Thymichthys politus "

Its population is estimated at only about 20 to 40 specimens, so researchers at the Marine Institute of Antarctic Studies of the University of Tasmania have not wanted to reveal for now its exact location to preserve its survival, since it is considered unique in the world .

These reddish fish, which measure 6 to 13.5 centimeters long, have an elongated body with protrusions in the form of warts with which they move slowly along the seabed in search of food such as crustaceans and worms.

When we believe that we have seen it all, nature comes back to surprise us with species never seen before.
