The shortest escalator

The shortest escalator, listed in the Guinness book of records, is located in one of the shopping centers of the Japanese city of Kawasaki. It is installed at the Parking level, and its length is only 83 centimeters.

It is not clear why it is at such a size and given the fact that the movement is in one direction, it is generally installed. Unless it was done for advertising purposes to attract tourists.

And there is nothing to add, except to remind that the longest escalator is in China.
