This is chapter 10 of DADDY'S GIRL.

I wanted to make sure I go home with the baby.
I knew if daddy saw this pregnancy and I refused to abort,he would kill me.
I registered for prenatal at a clinic nearby.
It just had to be a trekkable distance.

Calls were made when all my colleagues were done with thier examinations and due for vaccation but I was nowhere to be found.
In one of those visits to the clinic,labour happened
The birth was really complicated but I'm happy I survived it.

Immediately the child was born I called my mother.
The baby girl was a beautiful soul.
My mummy came almost immediately.
She got to the hospital and started shouting.
She made the nurses think of me as an evil child.
She told me how if I had obeyed my father and her this would never have happened.
I smiled and told her I have obeyed my father all my life.
She was excited about my baby,little did she know she was our baby.

I brought out the DNA test result for the baby.
She was really confused because it looked like her husband's.
She was surely going to confirm.
She drove back home after ensuring that I ate to my satisfaction.
My daddy asked her of me and she said that some students had to do clearance so she thinks that was what happened to me.
That evening,she told daddy that she wanted to trim his nails because she felt like being poked.
She carefully cut his nails and out in her pocket.

The next morning,my mother was one of the first patients at the hospital.
The DNA test showed that my father was responsible for the pregnancy.
Mum shouted and cried.
She waited till I was discharged,then she asked for the story.
In tears,I told her everything.
