My First Blog part #2

in #blog6 years ago

Hello Steemit!

First I would like to thank you all for your encouragement and advice and to introduce you the 2nd part of how I became a photographer.

Today I will tell you how and why I changed the photo background and how I got, from the first day of work, a bag full of cheese some eggs and green onions.

At the apartment studio the work began in the morning, where the work of persuasion and negotiation was carried out with the parents of the children to be photographed, but also with the most demanding "models". Basically, I was starting to take pictures when these girls finished telling what they had to say and sign the contracts, that is at 16:00 and I had to finish at 20:00.

That day did not happen that way, I had my third photo session around 19:40, so I was behind the schedule big time. The 25-year-old ‘’chick’’ had already arrived, but she was not a chick at all, it was more like a mountain of a woman and she was coming from … somewhere far away and she could not stay too much because she was losing the bus to that far away town. So I started the third session, a boy about 4-5 years old.

I arranged the lights, I started the fan because I was so nervous and sweated, I invited the little model in the middle of the studio and when I lean to ask him his name he has vomited over the camera over the fan and around the photo background. What a disaster!!!

I cast my helpless look at the makeup girl and tell her with a scarred voice Heeeelp , but instead of jumping to help me she looks at me and with a loud laugh replies '' You've done your baptism '' :))

After I quickly wiped out I had to cut a good piece of the photo background, (this background paper comes in the 11-meter roll, and I hade to cut it because it was a BIG mess)

Logically, the little one did not want to take a photo shoot anymore and I had to reprogram him in another day and so it looks like I was back in business and on time.

I invited the 25yo ‘’chick’’ in the middle of the studio, she was eager to show off her voluptuous forms.

Normally I had to make about 20-30 pictures with each outfit and the model had to bring three such clothes from home.

Fiona (lets name her like this) was dressed in a tracksuit and she had one more dress (it was something more like a sleeping bag) and a big raffia bag in her hand. I asked to leave the bag and start the photo session, but instead of letting the bag down she come near me and said, "I have something for you, from my yard" and she handles me the bag.
Inside were a few pounds of fresh cheese, some chicken eggs and looots of green onions.
That was my first bribe as a photographer :))

That evening I finished around 21:30, it was clear that Fiona lost the bus, but I was happy that the big day was over and because it was Friday and on weekends the studio was closed (except in special situations).

When I got home, I've exchanged the cheese, onions and eggs with some cold beers, which I savored with friends telling how my great day had gone.
I felt good though knowing that I would do what I liked most and that I would take money for that.

That weekend I went out with my friends to Rupea Castle to celebrate my new job.
an extraordinary place I wanted to see long ago

In the next few days I will tell you how I almost fall from the walls of the Rupea Castle and how was my first nude session, the disastrous one I was talking about in the first part of my story.https://steemit.com/blog/@martymnp/my-first-blog

Thank you for reading this and have a great day!
