How scientists predict the development of your relationship
Anyone interested in the fate of their relationship. Psychologists also. Are there any signs which can predict where it is going a relationship ? Scientists generally measure one aspect of the relationship at some point and watching correlates with its development after months or years. For example, if couples experiencing boredom at times, there is a greater chance of dissatisfied happy relationship nine years later.
Other scientists, however, believe that measuring an indicator in a given moment is less secure because they use a different strategy. They are convinced that the curve of ups and downs over the course of the relationship is much more indicative of feelings sparsely time.
There are days when you feel like you will live happily together until death do you part , and others, who are convinced that together happily and excluded. Researchers call this feeling "ready for marriage" and measure the level of this indicator over the link.
Brian Ogolski and his colleagues interviewed 376 couples in the middle between the 20th and 30th year and draw a graph how it changed their readiness for marriage over time.
They found that couples who have a dramatic ups and downs are twice as likely to be separated later than everyone else. The more smooth and permanently rising curve is changed, the more likely it is for partners to stay together and say cherished "yes."
