As we have officially come to an end of my Austrian adventures, I had last project I wanted to share with you all that was shot on mountain peaks. Travelling to Austria, I knew I will want to take photos of the two photo shoot ideas I had come up with.

Obviously there was a lot of planning prior to trip, involving creating moodboards, trying to fit all the props and dresses into the luggage and smuggling fake blood across the border... you know .... just a normal creative process for me. hehe

I managed to get lucky with the model as mentioned in the previous post. I used the same lady I happened to meet at a chalet... who surprisingly agreed to pose for me AGAIN. As if staying still on mountain peaks, in freezing cold with barely anything on and trying to look composed - didn't scare her off after last time.... what a badass....

I got her ready in my room, I have prepared her make-up, and as mentioned previously I'm no make-up artist.... particularly find it hard to do make-up on other people.... but desperate situations call for desperate measures... (or something like that). So I braved it and did her make-up..... didn't turn out that bad to be honest.... I was quite proud of myself.

The next step was painting her hands red, it was my main initial idea when coming up with this photo shoot. The red stands out nicely against pure white snow....
I smothered her hands in red paint and later, red blood when we got to the location.
One thing I didn't think through was the reactions that I would get from people who would see this passing by......

We stood on a mountain trail (not too high from the ground, but high enough) and began shooting. It was the end of the day when it began getting darker, so I wasn't expecting that much company..... but I did scare some skiers .... bless them.
One was going down the mountain ski track.... saw the model in her bloody form... shouted from the top of his lungs ... : ''WHAT THE FUU***KKK???!!!'' before making a sudden turn off ski track, off the mountain and collapsing in the midst of snow. I felt bad for the guy. But I'm not gonna lie, it did look a bit funny, and he was okay in the end....at least he will have a kickass story to tell his friends!

The photo shoot is called ''Tainted Heart''. And it's meant to portray the heartbreak of a woman with a bit of sinister message. I left the meaning fairly open for interpretation, but initial idea was showing the model in the cold but dominant way, with her skin and body drained of of life... but bright bloody hands that do the dirty work of revenge. She's a beauty, now fading like a ghost due to her focus on anger and thirst for revenge which has now began to stain her being and taking over....

I managed to take the images I desired, but the light of the day has gone sooner than expected and weather was really tricky. Therefore I struggled with certain aspects of it, and had to really put my time management skills to test. But we did it, and then it was time to head back to the chalet and prepare for the flight home.
