DARK BOUDOIR Studio Photo Shoot!!!
This time I share with you, a photoshoot I constructed on a tight deadline of 15 minutes while I was on work experience in one of the most known UK Pin-Up Photography businesses in the entire UK.
It was a lovely day, where I not only managed to meet the most amazing crew and see them work in their prime, but also meet one of the most inspirational women I met up to date, the founder of DollHouse photography- Chrissy. She is one of the most driven, inspirational and motivational humans I know in real life… hehe I mean, I’ve met loads of amazing people but her drive for her dreams and success is something out of this world.
While I had fun helping the crew and learning about their craft, I also got a chance to show what I’m made of. Chrissy (the photographer) gave me a free hand of choosing the outfit, make up and styling for a model and set before allowing me to pose and shoot my own images (how amazing is that).
I obviously went into my dark sphere… that’s the area I know best. Bright pin up shots looked like complete fun, but I have a dark default that I couldn’t shake off after seeing glamorous dark, feathery and gothic outfits in their studio wardrobe.
I obviously went for something sharper and more dynamic. Boyy did I love it! The time was limited and I was being watched from every side, but my new acquired motivation that day, I have proceeded and although a little nervous, took the shots and loved every second of that experience!
I’m really proud of these shots, as in the time I decided to do work experience, I just barely managed to overcome a year long trauma caused by an incident. That was one of the ways I started to get back to the living and revive my passion in photography! So yeah, they hold a deep meaning to me. Of empowerment and strength and I will definitely not forget this experience. I hope you will enjoy these images!
