I currently have a Google+ profile with over 3.5 Million views and a Blog with around 350,000 views

And I am going to bring my Google+ and Blog audience to Steemit. I have already started (as you can see in the posts on my Google+ profile) but I am going to be more active in this soon.

What I am going to do first is create a Facebook group. I can very quickly get 4,000+ people in the group, which would make it the largest Steemit group on Facebook. Then, as I am already doing, I am going to stop posting very much of anything to my Blog except for Steemit related updates, etc, and links to my Steemit blog.

Because I have been using my blog for 6 years or more there is also tons of content that I can provide to Steemit that will bring to the table both more diverse Topics, and content that is good for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), which will over the next few years bring even more people to Steemit via Google Searches.

So I am bringing my Blog over to Steemit, if you happen to be a reader of my Blog or someone who checks out my Google+ page, leave a comment and I will check out your Steemit Blog.

I'm moving everything to Steemit. EVERYTHING!

I Just moved to steemit today too, Upvoted

I wish you much success. I have a blog move too on my to-do list.
The best way to monitize free blogs.

I am doing the same. My blogger blog has almost 200,000 views. Best wishes to you in the transition. : )

Welcom to Steemit. ;)

To clarify a bit for those that are new to STEEM I will add this detail.
When STEEM pays out 1 $ worth of rewards (whether from posting, commenting or upvoting) it simply creates the new units "out of thin air". This has the effect of diluting everyone's STEEM holdings since the supply has increased but your personal wallet's balance has not.
The way to protect yourself from this dilution is to Power Up.
What does this do you might be axkin '?
Well, for every 1 $ worth of STEEM created to pay for content & curation there are 9 $ worth of STEEM created to send to those that have powered up.

So you should only hold STEEM if you are planning on selling it, or sending it to someone. Do not hold it for a long time since it is being diluted little by little by everyday's payouts.
Power it up and you will lock in your value.

Hope this helps complement the main post!
