Developing Values
Hello fellow steemians, good afternoon to all of you guys.

We developed our good values by practicing them whenever they are called for. When we have a problem occurs, many of us tend to react automatically based on the highest values that we have developed up to that moment. We developed good values by repetition, by behaving consistently with particular value over and over again, until it becomes a habit and locks in so that we come to practice it automatically. Both of us with highly developed characters behave in a manner consistently with highest values, and we do so without thought or hesitation. There's no questions on our minds about whether or not we are doing the right thing.

There are many kinds of virtue and values that usually possessed our characters. These are temperance, generosity, courage, compassion, persistence, and friendliness among others. However it takes tremendous self-discipline to become a better person. And it's also takes considerable willpower to always do the right thing in every situation. Self-discipline and willpower are both take to resist the temptation, we should take the easy way or we should act for short term advantage.
All happened to our lives is a test, to see what we are really made of deep down inside. We developed wisdom through study and reflection, but our characters developed only in our daily life, when we are forced to choose and decided among alternatives and temptations.
Thank you for dropping by and have a good day fellow steemians.

I couldn't agree more. I think disciplined values are what shape the world. I am fortunate enough to be surrounded by amazing people and opportunities that challenge my discipline. Your post is spot on - thanks for sharing.
