Animals
Hello fellow steemians,

Many animals have the color of the environment they live in. Some animals protect themselves against their enemies through protective coloration called camouflage. This adaptation allows some animals to blend with their surroundings or the place they live on like lizards, snakes, and octopus. Some animals imitate the shapes, smells, taste, or even sounds of other animals. This behavior is called mimicry. Most insects secrets chemicals that they used to protect themselves like wasps or bees. Other animals protect their own kind likes elephant, penguins and monkeys travel to the jungle in family groups. They scattered themselves to look for food but they don't go far from one another. They stay within their hearing distance. When they sense that they are in danger, they group together and protect each other. Not animals can move fast so it would be difficult for them to run away their predators. Animals such as snails, crabs, turtles and oysters have protective shell covers. When they sense danger they keep their bodies inside their shells.
Animals have body structures that help them adapt to land. Some are covered with fur to keep them warm. Others are covered with feathers for flying. Some have smooth skin for breathing like worms. Most body covering animals are for protection. Animals have body for moving like legs for walking and wings for flying and land or terrestrial animals have lungs for breathing.
