Entertaining the age old question, "Who Benefits?"

...this post is for entertainment purposes, please don't hate me...

OK, so right off the bat much of what i'm going to write here is a listing of all the biggest conspiracy theories about the origin of the corona virus and possible reasons behind it. Also, I thought it would be interesting and and kind of fun to see all of you post some of your theories in your replies below.
You know , conspiracy theories get a bad rap anymore, but admit it, they are fascinating if they aren't too crazy. the mere fact that appending the appellation of , "Conspiracy Theory" to a possible explanation has its own conspiracy theory! The all powerful overlords taught us all to dismiss outright any controversial reason behind an event by just calling it a, "conspiracy theory." Just for a brief moment, let us suspend our disbelief and wade gently into the deep waters of what might really be the "true" reason behind the latest pandemic if , for any reason, to at least give us some comedic relief in these desperate times. To keep my own sanity I will issue this disclaimer, "This is all just a spit-balling fantasy of what could actually be." OR.. hey, it was all just a natural accident and its all God's fault.

1. Covid-19 is a genetically modified variant of a naturally occurring coronavirus.

Now this one actually has many many mainstream media articles. The suggestion is that the virus has a man-made origin and the story is it accidentally got out of the level-4 lab that really is in Wuhan. here's one link you can check out, washingtonexaminer
There are also scientific papers out there of the genetic analysis of this virus' genetic sequence being so peculiar compared to all the other coronaviruses that it seems very unlikely to have occurred naturally from evolutionary natural selection. At least this theory says it was an accident and thus, no one benefits from it happening.

2. Its the "Christmas Present" that North Korea's Kim Jong Un promised the USA.

3. Pensions are failing worldwide and Covid-19 is the solution to remove all the very old people draining the poorly thought out pension plans developed 50-80 years ago.

Ok, I made this one up, but it sound interesting right?

4. Its a bio warfare attack by the USA against China to collapse that nation and convince Americans they cant survive much longer if they outsource all their manufacturing overseas!

5. Its a bio warfare attack by China to weaken the USA and everyone else to prime the world for their rise to complete world dominance!

6. Someone crazy crafted the virus in hopes to reset the world just for the hell of it.

7. The real effect of the virus doesn't appear in the host who "recovers" from it for 1 year.

I made up the last three and that last one is diabolical. I think I'd better stop there.
