The longest palindrome of the world exists in the Finnish language

According to the Guinness Book of Records, the longest palindrome in the world is saippuakivikauppias. The word is somewhat artificial but plausible and it means a dealer in lye or caustic soda. There are 19 letters in saippuakivikauppias.

Finnish works well in palindrome construction because it is a synthetic language that uses a lot of affixes attached to word stems. That makes for a lot of long words. But when it comes to the longest words found in a dictionary, German takes the cake. Take a look at the monster below:

Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz

Let that sink in for a while.

It means a law that governs the transfer of beef labeling supervision tasks.

What an interesting curiosity friend @markkujantunen. I did not know what this terminology was called, I find it funny. The one I can mention in my language is "reconocer"(recognize) and "sometemos"(we submit) haha ... are the ones that most caught my attention.
One question: do you know how to speak German?

Yes. I studied German for two years in middle school and for three years in upper secondary school. I've forgotten a lot of vocabulary, of course, but I after very slow and careful reading I understood that word. :)

Great! ... I imagined that you should have some knowledge for the proximity of the country also for being in Europe who know multiple languages. I am curious to know German and Japanese because I like those two countries very much.

I know just a little bit of Japanese, too. I took an elementary course in Japanese back in 1994. :)

Wow! ... that yes I did not expect it. Because it is not close haha.

In Venezuela the most famous palindrome is the word, AREPERA that is restaurentes sonde serve arepas. a typeco dish from Venezuela

I did this for my daughters' breakfast last Sunday.

Arepas dulce

You're right, friend @lanzjoseg I can certify and respond the same as your AREPERA is the most famous palindrome in my country

They had to think hard enough. To be able to do that!
It's very cool ..

Hi Mark. Trust the Germans lol. Interesting but I am not going to remember that.

Markku

Got it. Markku.

The words that have this quality are curious. I wonder, would it have been invented on purpose?

I think saippuakivikauppias was artificial. But Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz, while not a palindrome, is in actual use. :)

I try to read that and my head hurts haha. :)
Sorry
