A general question. Some people criticize Technical Analysis, but with cryptocurrencies what else is there? There are no financials or P/E ratio's and other metrics to look at. What are the arguments against using TA in the cryptospace? Is there an alternative to TA in the cryptospace to making trading decisions?
Great show, keep up the good work!
You always make interesting content. Thanks for this one, I appreciate it.
Is this fall based on volume of trading involving so many buyers willing to buy low? And is this possibly because of so many ICOs?
Hi Chris, you mentioned that by changing the 200-day moving average and the 50-day moving average, the information will be LESS RELIABLE. I don't see the benefit to changing it. Yes, the two lines may cross in the near future; but eventually, the price will move up again. My gut feeling is don't change it. 😀
It's a trade off between the speed of the indicator and the reliability. I mean what good is an indicator that doesn't indicate a downtrend until the downtrend has almost finished? :D
Forgot to say thank you for posting on the weekends! I do miss your videos on the weekends.
Thanks Chris for the posts this weekend. This was really good, also it is interesting to look at LTC which is hanging in pretty well, particularly if you compare price to BTC.
There are still a lot of short vs long positions in ETH vs USD.
And as a comparison, here's Litecoin long vs short positions against USD. LTC looks a lot more positive.
