INGREDIENTES:
4 Mature bananas preferably with black conch

2 tablespoon margarine.
PREPARACIÓN:
In a cauldron place the whole bananas or in half, spread the margarine on top and cover for 5 minutes.
Uncover the pot and add the sugar and cover it again for 10 more minutes.
After that time you lower the fire very low let it dry until it is browned on both sides, you will know when they are ready once they are caramelized....
This recipe serves as a garnish for a dish such as black roast, meat stew, baked chicken etc...

Got me hooked. ''I'll be back.''
In the winters if my youth the traditional rhubarb crumble gave way to stewed apple crumble during cider-making season. But since moving to Australia and spending years in the tropics, I no longer eat so many deserts of a baked nature. Now I'm retired however I have been baking slit more, and the old favourite of my kids came up again, but here we have read pineapple. #0130 in my blog is by eye translated to measure, crumble with option of coconut custard. Because of the often warm weather baking here is a winter special and because we can often still get berries in winter, the other options are raspberry in apple crumble, or strawberry custard instead of coconut, just to surprise the children, of whatever age, six to sixty. 😇
Back a couple of months over Xmas, I put up many WW1 recipes given to me in UK over sixty years ago from grandma and veterans of WW1. Should you wish to view. 😐
