Review Peter Tosh A classic Reggae Artist ..

in #dblog4 years ago

hello dear friends a big greeting from Venezuela thanks to nights of effort in steemit and Reggaesteem I could make my baby happy this Christmas, as we all know here in Venezuela the crisis is a bit strong but we must always maintain a positive attitude to the difficulties of the life .. and then always look beyond grateful to God for all his blessings and as he expresses the word of God we must put God first in all our projects and he will support all our needs ..
Reggae transmits in the lyrics of its songs messages of: freedom, equality, justice, love, peace and, above all, gratitude towards a creator God of everything that has life.
That is why today I want to present to you a very prominent artist this Jamaican musical genre called Petter Tosh ...

This Artist is a reggae icon, he was in charge of spreading this music to all corners of the world ... in this sense it looks a lot like our Bob Marley ..

This artist subsequently begins a solo career focusing his career, in criticism of the political system of his country ... also this artist becomes even more popular because he is the most famous representative of the Rastari movement.

Tosh from his childhood lived the abandonment of his parents because they had him at an early age leaving him in the care of his aunt. Sometimes the blows that life gives us make us grow all these controversies in Peter's childhood make them develop a strong attitude and fighting spirit.

In 1973 this artist goes through a tragedy Tosh had an accident with his girlfriend, in which she died and he had severe psychological consequences.

This artist for his broad mind and the struggle for a series of ideals that he always maintained and expressed through his music thanks to this he had to go through violent experiences where he almost lost his life because of a beating caused by police officers. ...

Tosh in his extensive musical career as he had previously said he was a member of the Musical Group "The Wailers" and it is said that he taught Bob Marley to play Guitar had an outstanding participation in the album "Catch A Fire", through this many people The main successes that I interpret and wrote on this album were more involved with Reggae were:
"400 Years" and "Stop That Train"

Peter Tosh - 400 Years

Peter Tosh - Stop That Train

after his separation with the group The Wailers because in this group they did not give him the value he deserved, this artist launches several emblematic hits as a soloist, which are the following:

Peter Tosh - Legalize It

This song was released in 1976 and was much appreciated, by marijuana legalization supporters, reggae lovers and Rastafarians around the world was one of the most requested songs of Tosh's concerts

1987 was the last year of a dreamer and human rights defender and icon of the Rastafari movement. who in a tragic way on Friday, September 11 after he resumed his career again and was reborn in the artistic world this after he returned to his home in Jamaica from this world victim of an alleged robbery a gang of three men arrived at his House asking for money. Tosh replied that he had nothing with him, but they didn't believe him. They stayed at his residence for several hours in an attempt to extort Tosh. At that time, many of the musician's friends arrived to welcome him after his return to Jamaica. That increased the frustration of the armed men, especially the band leader, "Leppo" Lobban Dennis, whom Tosh had become friends with and who tried to help him find work after a long prison sentence. Apparently, "Leppo" Lobban Dennis put a gun in Tosh's head and fired twice, killing him. The gunmen began firing, injuring several people and killing disc jockey Jeff "Free Me" Dixon. "Leppo" was handed over to the authorities. He was sentenced to death, but his sentence was appealed in 1995 and he remains in prison.

Sweet, you and your Baby Girl ;)
I like how you express the..."gratitude towards a creator God
of everything that has life"
You really wonder where that gratitude went, when "Leppo"
shot Tosh...crazy. I didn't know that...

hello friend a big hug from Venezuela god bless you, gratitude to god is fundamental without god we are nothing in this life, if I am surprised how he died this artist was betrayed by a person whom he helped and held out his hand when he most We needed to be given that his death was premonitory because he made an affirmation in an interview.
"... having friends is very dangerous, because once you have earned your trust, you can't tell when they can help or when they can betray."
