I live on a lake and we se lots of dragonflies. I never noticed the human skull helmets before---but now I do! Now I cant un-see it LOL

LoL Shabbat Shalom is almost the whole of my Hebrew but we have heard shalom aleichem.
So, I looked it up. shalom aleichem, according Merriam Webster online, means peace to you.

Amazingly beautiful aqua 'helmet' and ultramarine blue tail. Love all the colour shades in the background too.
Hey Ally, perhaps I should mention that I doctored this a touch in PicsArt. It didn't change the dragonfly all that much but it did add those lovely splashes of color! It's nice when software makes me happy.

I get that. They do look very alien and weird. A bit like American Football players with the helmets and all lol
LOL yes well and I have no love for football players in helmets either ...
I'm not into sports at all but I do love nature and that is a spectacular photo. :)

Great picture. I always like to study the dragonflies in my backyard. One time I seen a dragonfly take off from one of my trees then return to about the same place with a fly in it's clutches eating it alive. Then it takes off again and gets another fly and lands close to the same place and goes munching again on a fly. Great entertainment.
