Villa Öjersjö

Overlooking Lake Stora Kåsjön, Villa Öjersjö is a modern residence located east of Göteborg, designed by Bornstein Lyckefors Arkitekter.
The architects helped to merge the black wooden house with its surroundings. Privacy was also an important issue, as were the strict rules associated with the site, which complicated the design. All of the site's issues were addressed, as was the privacy, keeping the house closed to the street and more open to the west and the lake. This resulted in a spectacular roof slope, which also creates a visually vibrant interior. While the exterior is covered with black calcimine wood planks, the interior is finished with solid, raw wood. Natural wood contrasts with the black framed windows that offer magnificent views of the surrounding nature.
