Stage of Forest
Created by META-Project, this triangular building overlooks the valley and lake and serves as an observation platform for the Songhua Lake Resort in China's Jilin Province.
Its dark wood and concrete outer casing allows it to blend into the wooded landscape. The platform is at the top of a ski slope at the edge of the forest. Its unique triangular shape takes advantage of the topographic situation, capturing a panoramic view of the mountains and the lake. The structure mixes rough materiality with more sensual forms: at a distance, the platform seems to float above the snowy landscape. Once inside, the red cedar woodwork reflects the sun, creating a bright, warm and colorful space.
Your post I really need
Very good integration in the landscape and the interior with the use of wood, it gives a feeling of warmth, perfect to rest between two runs (but I don't know about wood floor and ski boots).
