Located next to Migjorn Beach, on the southern coast of Formentera Island, this house was built by Marià Castelló for an environmentally sensitive family.
The project focuses on duality between telluric and tectonic. The massive and the light. The earth and the air. Artisanal and technological. The rock, which goes back to the chosen place, has been carved like a sculpture, offering a cavity reminiscent of local stone quarries. An entire space materialized with a single stone, monolithic. This house is divided into three modules, connected by glazed passages.

This longitudinal layout gives rise to completely empty successions, patios, walkways, cross-sections and a place, discovered by surprise: a natural cave, which was incorporated into the project during the construction process. The interior is a soft mix of wood, stone and white walls and the spaces are open and bathed in natural light. A little corner of paradise ! Perfect for relaxing and observing the beauty of nature between land and sea ...
