Attack of the Sea Gulls
Two of my little dudes had their birthday party today at Liberty Station Park in San Diego.
When it was time for the Piñata, everyone left the food table and went over to the tree to watch the action. I walked back to the table to get my purse - and what do I see?
Seagulls trying to eat our food.
It was time for the seagull defense team to spring into action!!!

Lol they are such opportunistic little creatures... once one swooped out of the sky and ripped a hot dog right out of my hand as I was bringing it to my mouth!

We don't have attack of seagull but monkeys. And I love that you have piñata for birthday celebration because we don't have it here. Only found out about it when watching Despicable Me. Lol...

Thank you 😊 you can start the tradition. You make any shape with cardboard and papier-mâché, put something to tie up a rope and leave a hole to fill it with whatever treats you want.
The trick is to keep the kids from hitting each other by accident. As soon as something falls out, they all want to run in while the bat holder is still swinging 🤓

I miss these times in California. I had many a pinata and outdoor birthday parties with Caleb. He got invited to so many of them up until about 10 or so. We were going to one every weekend sometimes.
Not missing the seagulls though :)
Kids parties are fun! And I like that we had it at the park without a huge expense of whatever people are doing these days...just playing, eating and having fun!
