2019 - Do You Do New Year's Resolutions?
Every year, around this time, people are all ready to start a new life. New Years resolutions is a big deal for many.
In this very short video - with my voice being a bit off- I talk about why I don't do this and what I do instead.

Same here! It doesn’t appeal to me anymore, it sounds wishy washy because most of them do sound too high of a standard, hard to achieve.

Goals are important but need to be realistic and themes sound like a great idea! Short term is much better too!

I don't do them. I resolve to do things throughout the year when something comes up. It's been interesting to read them here and I see a lot of people resolving to do better with their health. I hope they do.
I decided to set up a now account here for food posts in mid- December and got @fitifunfood started in December. I posted the first post on Jan 1, but that was a coincidence :)

Much like yourself I set intentions but also with small achievable goals, one big one over head right now is digging myself out of debt but that’s more of a challenge to myself to be frugal all year then anything.
I took on steemit as part of my resolution last year to do something other then watching tv 24/7... turned out pretty well having discovered a therapeutic outlet 😅
This year is to learn a better balance in life and creation, new found passion and all I get burn out periods. Hopefully I can learn to carry more of the joy I experience from creation into my life.
My first goal is relative to that idea exactly, I want #OneLoveDTube merch so I can sport that passion everywhere I go!

Yes, I agree with you and I never take my new year resolution too seriously!
Things change and New Year resolution soon to be forgotten then anything else.
Let’s put it this way, my life long resolution is : follow Christ and be good! Improve myself and help more!

I am not so much a New Year's Resolution person... I can't remember ever making one... hmmmm that could just be my memory hahaha
Yeah, I think if you want to do something, just do it anytime....
Of course, the energy of new beginnings is always exciting but the attitude or like you say the intention needs to be more than just the "party line" :)

If it comes to resolutions I do them at the moment I decide I need to do it and I start at once. So I do not do New Year's resolutions I continue with what I want or need to do and what is possible for me to achieve
