A free app: Grammarly. A lot of us are not native English speakers and I am finding it a helpful app. It will underline spelling and grammar mistakes. Just remember that is is not always right -especially if you use complex sentence structures. Here is the link
Remember The Most Dangerous Writing App. You set the time - 5 min - and start typing. Don’t stop!!! It will destroy what you wrote if you stop for more than 3 seconds - and backspace does not count as writing on the app. If you are prone to stop and think - this app forces you to keep going. You can make corrections after the 5 minutes are over.
A timer. Egg timer is a free tool you can use on your desktop to set a time. This is useful for our freewrites or if you want to work in blocks of time and then take a break. Here is the link

Weddings are the worst kind of event ever. We are put on some singles table full of weird people who'd never attract anyone, which is why they are on the singles table in the first place. That is a horrible reminder of how we suck at life. I mean, I want a partner, but I can't get one. Do you, lovey-dovey couple getting married, really have to expose me like that? It's not like I'm not trying here.

Surprisingly enough, a cute guy winked at me. Yes, yes, it happened in a wedding. But if he liked me, how weird could he be? It's not like I'm not marriage material or anything. Well, it turns out he used to think the same way, but he took a leap of faith. Apparently I'm super intimidating, kind of awkward in conversations and angry all the time, but he still risked it because he just had "that feeling" when I walked in front of him.

I am still not married. But I am not single. Who cares what social expectations? We've been happy together as a couple for the last 17 years.

They say if you try too hard people feel it and you scare them away. Sounds to me you found the right person. Marriage is just a paper weddings cost a lot of money but you can give that party anyway.

I am single and very happy and will never change that. Weddings and funerals are both places to feel miserable

That was a freewrite story. :) I am polyamorous. But I do not think being polyamorous is better (or worse) than any other way of relating to others, including being single. Whatever works best for us!
