Have you ever heard Sara Bareilles' song "She used to be mine"?

I don't really identify myself in it still, like the song says, most days I don't recognize me anyway. Things happen so fast, that we often find ourselves hanging from a very thin thread over a deep ocean. We pretend we are acrobats, in control of our every move.

In reality we are subject to the whims of the stars looking at the deep ocean, wondering if it's looking back at us. If it's going to swallow us any moment or if we will manage to continue our show to the rest of the world and somewhere in the middle of the show we are going to find the self that won't ever die.

I created this artwork using colored pilot pens and a black marker.
