DOOM (An Original Poem)

Sword of death
The crown of thorns
Upon my head.
And silent as the night
I feel old and cold, and empty
As the wind.
Broken glass on a disfigured mantelpiece.
Pay for life – pay for death
Twisted with torment
Alone and cold.
Lost in limbo my life untold.
Saw people die.
Mass destruction hit, which was foretold
Hell swallowed some and others put in plaster,
A tragic disaster.
Pay for all sins, no escape.
Nothing, nothing, empty nothingness.
For miles and miles a never ending
Journey.
Whose law is truth?
And what justice is there?
Interesting, gloomy, "abandon all hope ye who enter here."
