Nature always shows us its most violent side in situations where it changes direction, and unloads all its fury in places that are close to the seas, lakes or rivers. In this we can appreciate that when the power of nature awakens, there is no one who can contain it, since in it the power of God is manifested. Biblically the waves are interpreted or are synonymous with problems in the life of every living being, and the storm has been a whole host of adverse situations that serve to prove the trust and faith in every human being.
At any moment of our lives, situations of overwhelm may occur where we feel we drown, as the disciples of the teacher felt when they saw the waves rise enormously and fear and anguish came to pass through their minds. despair and uncertainty; in these moments we only see the magnitude of the problem or problems and we feel that our boat is about to capsize and we together with it. Many faint and stop fighting, lower their arms and give up; but others take the challenge and see beyond the horizon, redouble their efforts, gain greater confidence and prepare to take the water out of their boat; they do not see how huge the problem is, they do not think about surrendering, they are not willing to lose what is theirs, on the contrary they fight with all their being to preserve what belongs to them. My brother, have you ever seen what a sailor does when he faces a raging sea, where there is nobody around to ask for help, where only he and the rest of the crew are, and opposite is the great challenge ? It fills with courage, does not see the size of the waves, tightens the jaw, draws strength from its weakness and is ready to win and reach the other shore !! I can not deny that for a moment fear passes through his mind, however, he overcomes it and inspires him to succeed.

Nothing in life is impossible to achieve, everything is that you propose it, that you believe you can obtain it.

The disciples were sailing in that boat, which was like a nutshell, in a raging sea ... they were fishermen, they had a lot of knowledge of the Sea of Galilee, so they knew about these weather things. Is that why they did not want to get on the boat? Because the Bible says that Jesus constricted them, pushed them, hurried them to get into the boat. Surely they will have seen the sky, which augured the danger, but Jesus told them, "you go the same way! Go up and go to the other side! "What a problem! The waves rose, a wind and a tremendous storm came and they began to be intimidated and to feel that they were going to sink, but Jesus came walking on the waters. When Christ comes to you, salvation comes! There is no storm that can sink you if Christ comes to you.
