PR of own ideas is an art which should be mastered if you want to be realized successfully. In mentioning their merits and achievements there is nothing shameful: people should understand that you are successful, and cooperation with you will benefit them too. Just make sure that self-promotion does not grow into puffiness. Sometimes it is enough just to mention that you are good at doing (say, mount on the computer videos), and you will immediately have like-minded people.
