"Cunning" - in my Desirable Pearls - 20
This story is heard from my grandfather's friend.
A bricklayer had worked for many years in a large construction company. Until once he received an order to build a magnificent villa according to his own design and recognition. He could choose the most beautiful place and not worry about any costs.
Work began immediately. However, using the boundless trust he placed in him, he first thought that he could use old resources and hire less qualified workers to take away the money he had not been spared.
When the house was completed, at the time of the adoption, he gave his President the keys to the estate.
The president, however, returned it to him immediately and, smiling, he said:
- This house is our thanks to you for reliable work. Let it be an expression of our respect.
