One of the most breathtaking places on São Miguel Island. Is a tiny islet just off the shores of Vila Franca do Campo county,
with a striking shape that provides a beautiful atoll in its interior. you can visit the islet in summer and contemplate the surrounding rocks and cliffs eroded into strange shapes.
it is a protected zone, with a diverse and abundant marine life. One of my favorite places in São Miguel Island.
