Steemit Is Like A Desert Rose

My girlfriend and I quit out jobs four months ago and moved to Mexico. After a month in the Yucatan area we migrated to Acapulco. With our savings mostly depleted the Steemit platform came to our rescue, giving us a fighting chance to rekindle our dream of living freely and happily in a tropical paradise.

During the last month I've dedicated my attention in expanding my literacy of cryptocurrencies and the comprised market. Going from birdbrained blockhead to blockchain believer.

These days we are relying exclusively on the funds conceived by Steemit to support us in paying the rent in these erratic times; and indeed it is also during this time that the blockchain market is at its most unpredictable.

Today I learned that Steemit has hit a record high of page views, approaching a million views!

Not only that, I am personally hearing from friends, earnest and idealistic bloggers and vloggers chatting about how they've opened their own Steemit accounts.

So today in a decision determined by my unequivocal confidence in the Steemit platform and its abiding value; I have invested half of our money in STEEM.
