Be like Jesus: virtues
greetings parishioners, this afternoon I wrote this. I sat under the shade of my favorite tree, the afternoon with its wonderful sun, and the breeze that accompanied the heat. I started writing this.
the Christian life is not Primarily an intellectual search; it is not simply to do good or participate in spiritual activity. Life Christian is about who we become to become for the sake of the the rest. Since Jesus came from heaven in order to represent us, He modeled before us the life we were created to live.
Therefore, the supreme goal of life according to God's design is that we be like Jesus.
The passion of God is that the virtues of Jesus appear in our lifetime. The Bible calls these virtues "fruit". The fruit is external in a tree; everyone sees it and testing it is within everyone's reach. When a delicious fruit appears at the ends of our branches, this gives evidence of the health that there is in the interior. However, ultimately, the value of the fruit is for the benefit of others, those who grasp the fruit of our lives and they prove it. Is it ripe, sweet and delicious, or is it green and rotten, or possibly even artificial?
The "touch of hope" was missing in my life. And a human being does not You can live without hope. This explained my state of depression. Until that moment of my existence I had been living with a false feeling of hope. I, like many people, "expected" that life here would be good and would remain consistent, which translated in an absence of crisis in relationships, not storms, no job losses, money in the bank and certainly no deaths from anyone I would like very much. While such "hope" can that is sustained for a while, will finally disappoint us and fail.
God wants to give us true hope, which rises above of all earthly affairs and makes us go through all our problems.
Clearly, I did not have that kind of fruit at the ends of my branches. There is a very interesting fact that I learned in the middle of everything that: we can not grow in the virtue of hope by merely trying feel more hopeful.
Thank you Winder, blessings for your life. regards
