This is my entry for the #monomad challenge ABSTRACT WEDNESDAY

in #monomad5 years ago

When you look underwater, everything may seem abstract, but in fact everything has a very concrete role.

these are the red sponges, right? they pump the sea water thru their filters. absolutely non harmless :=)

They are filters, yes, but they are not sponges. Claveline in French. I don't know the english translation for that.

maybe, the correct english analog is Ascidiacea?

Marc, I am a big fan of the seacreatures, and love (to watch) your sea challenge images. Unfortunately I cant join it -- nothing to shoot here... the shores of the Baltic sea is a knee-deep (literally) muddy paddle, and the water is almost same lake in rivers, i.e. sea fauna is very poor. not like in tropics. I hate to say that but you probably will see nothing too intresting in my blog. Except maybe some some b-w :P

all the best!

I follow you. You're right I did not see many underwater things on your blog !! But, if you can, try macro subjects. Even in muddy waters, rivers or lakes, you can find really amazing creatures.

thats a good hint, thank you. I love macro.
