Durante il mio viaggio in Francia, ho scoperto qualcosa di nuovo che mi ha subito incuriosita: lo sciroppo di grenadine. Ogni volta che entravo in un ristorante, vedevo persone di ogni età ordinare questa bevanda rossa, frizzante e dolce.
Ascoltavo le ordinazioni – “Una grenadine, per favore” – e mi chiedevo: ma che cos’è questa bevanda che sembra piacere così tanto?
Per giorni ho continuato a notare quanto fosse popolare, finché, alla fine, mi sono decisa a chiederlo. Mi sono avvicinata al bancone e ho chiesto al barista, curiosa di saperne di più.

È molto amato in Francia, soprattutto per le bevande analcoliche, e spesso viene aggiunto all’acqua frizzante per dare un tocco di colore e un sapore fresco e dolce.
Finalmente il mistero era svelato! Ora la grenadine non è più solo una curiosità: è diventata per me un piccolo simbolo della Francia e del suo gusto per le cose semplici e buone.

During my trip to France, I discovered something new that immediately intrigued me: Grenadine syrup. Every time I went into a restaurant, I saw people of all ages ordering this red, sparkling, sweet drink.
