The Pirahã tribe is the tribe of Brazil who lives near the city of Porto Velho. The population of Pirah tribe is approximately 200 people. The Pirahã tribe was introduced to mankind by Daniel Everett.

The Pirahan tribe has its own language. But the Pirahã language has not been put on paper until today. In Pirahã's language there are no words for abstract concepts. Because of the lack of future language in Pirahã, the people of Pirahã live only the present time and have no idea of the future. Therefore, the people of Pirah are considered as the happiest people in the world.

The Pirahã tribe is not believed to be linked to any religion. They only talk about concepts like spirit.
