IV. Murad

IV. Murad was born in 1612. Murad Khan, 11 years old, was the ruler of the Ottoman State in 1623.

In the first years of Murad Khan's reign, his mother Kösem Sultan ruled of the Ottoman State because he was young. But after, Murad Khan took the absolute power.

Murad Khan is a stiffperson. The Ottoman State had lost its authority before Murad Khan. Almost all the Ottoman rulers and military commanders bribed and governed the state for their own benefit. In preventing this, Murad Han banned tobacco, alcohol and coffee as the first job. And Murad Khan executed all the corrupt officials.

Murad Khan repressed all the uprisings that had come on time. And the Ottoman State provided authority again in the time of Murad Khan.

Murad Khan died in 1640.
