Gaius Galerius Valerius Maximianus

Galerius was born in 250 years. The full name of Galerius is Gaius Galerius Valerius Maximianus. Galerius became the emperor of the Roman state in 293 .

Galerius is a very successful commander. Galerius conquered Mesopotamia. And the Roman empire, thanks to Galerius, reached the widest borders in the east.

But after the division of the Roman state into two, Galerius began to rule western Rome. Galerius is the last Roman emperor to persecute Christians. Galerius is not loved by the people of Rome. The reason is that Galerius is very hard on Roman citizens.

Galerius retired in 311. And Galerius died in the same year.
