Once again, our friend @theycallmedan has brought an initiative for all users of the Steemit block chain, in this opportunity he invites us to expose what is our opinion about decentralization and the block chain concept.

And the question is: What Does Decentralization Mean To Me? -

What do you think are the fundamental building blocks of blockchain?

The origin of the blockchain technology is quite interesting, this protocol was initially created to process and record electronic transaction histories, without the need for a central intermediary or authority or a trust system. The blockchain has provided many benefits to developers who have created new cryptographic ecosystems based and supported by this technology, therefore, the blockchain is the central organism of the cryptomonies that have been formed over the years, so, what is sought with this? this technology provides great benefits, provides a gigantic, solid and robust database stored completely available to everyone to be distributed immutably through the sequences of blocks synchronized and interlaced with each other, being this a growing sequence of blocks established and public these form an open system thus achieving confidence having as a fundamental pillar the transparency, strength and security of transactions.

This technology has been developed gradually, so much so that there are chains of blocks that work with reverse methodology with the aim of achieving maximum performance of the development in the environment of big data, providing in turn a maximum robustness and scalability to data systems and virtual transactions, this makes the protection to the chain of blocks is maximum and effective against possible threats that attempt to attack or alter the proper processing of nodes and blocks.

So from this, I can infer that security, transparency, speed and scalability are some of those most important fundamentals for those of us who use block chain technology.

What does decentralization mean to you, is it important, why?

Decentralization is a real blessing, it allows the same information stored in a block chain to be shared in a synchronized way in several places at the same time without the information being altered or manipulated, in other words, decentralization allows us to have access to everything we want without us being able to manipulate the coded information in a synchronized way.

Decentralization allows us to make great contributions to open source development that allows the monitoring and development of information to new platforms that are in the process of development.

Decentralization allows us to create information networks that are crossed by different communities in parallel, that is, it allows us to operate in a community environment where everyone shares the same information and data.

Decentralization provides us with great benefits such as freedom, data monitoring, transparency in transactions without these being manipulated by a governing body. Simply put, decentralization provides us with indecency and joint governance, that is, everyone makes contributions and is the protagonist of decisions and changes that can be made to meet the needs of the community.

What do you think about blockchain and decentralization?

I have two years in this world of blockchain, Steemit was for me the door to a totally huge, strange and uncertain world. Decentralization is vital when developing new functional relationships between communities, users and companies, I believe that thanks to decentralization and block chain technology many institutions, companies and industries of different categories have obtained successes, thus achieving great development engines, decentralization allows us to grow and develop community networks using block chain technology as a fundamental basis, this concept of decentralization in our block chain has been affected and threatened lately by who is today the main owner of Steemit.INC.

Centralizing a community that has decentralization as its banner has been a slap in the face for those of us who, day by day, make contributions to the development, growth and functionality of our Steem block chain.

Decentralization makes us create connections between us and share the same information base collectively, we create communities that have as their primary flag the freedom of thought and the possibility of making fundamental and necessary contributions in the moment that it is needed.
