El Club Puerto Azul es un complejo turístico recreacional de carácter privado ubicado en la población de Naiguatá, en el litoral central venezolano. Sería fundado por el empresario Daniel Camejo Octavio y su hijo Peter a principio de la década de los cincuenta. Ambos formarían la tripulación del equipo venezolano de vela de la clase Star que participó en los Juegos Olímpicos de 1960, celebrados en la ciudad italiana de Roma, donde finalizarían en el puesto 21.

Este centro turístico se ha convertido en uno de los más importantes de la América Latina, a pesar de que se vería severamente afectado por un deslave de tierras, producto de las fuertes lluvias caídas de diciembre de 1999 en el estado Vargas, lo que generó un enorme aluvión que sepultaría las instalaciones del Club por muchos meses. Los socios lograrían recuperar los espacios conservando el diseño original.

El club cuenta con tres edificaciones de 15 pisos con función hotelera para sus socios, que fueron construidos en terrenos de lo que había sido la Hacienda "Longa España" y un centro social de arquitectura vanguardista que comprende una moderna estructura central con restaurante, salones de fiesta, biblioteca, gimnasio, sauna, áreas comerciales, complejo de piscinas con bowling, cine techado semi abierto, jardines y canchas para la práctica del volibol y el basketbol, además de un malecón y una marina deportiva con muelles para el atraque de unas 80 embarcaciones, que incluyen yates y veleros de 12 metros. En fin, todas las comodidades para el sano disfrute y esparcimiento de la familia.

Esta fotografía que forma parte de mi archivo personal, la tomé durante unas vacaciones decembrinas en compañía de mi familia, y posteriormente la modifiqué haciendo uso de los filtros y herramientas de edición que proporciona el PicsArt, para lo cual empleé un filtro del tipo HDR (High Dynamic Range) que permite una mayor amplitud de tonos que los filtros usualmente usados, y luego, un filtro sencillo de Blanco & Negro, con la finalidad de poder compartirla con esta comunidad.

Club Puerto Azul is a private recreational tourist complex located in the town of Naiguatá, on the central Venezuelan coast. This tourist center has become one of the most important in Latin America, although it would be severely affected by a landslide, the result of heavy rains in December 1999 in the state of Vargas, which generated a huge flood that would bury the Club's facilities for many months. The club has three buildings of 15 floors with hotel function for its members, which were built on land of what had been the Hacienda "Longa Spain" and a social center of avant-garde architecture comprising a modern central structure with restaurant, meeting rooms party, library, gym, sauna, shopping areas, pool complex with bowling, semi-open roofed cinema, gardens and courts for volleyball and basketball, as well as a boardwalk and a sports marina with docks for berthing about 80 boats, which include yachts and sailboats of 12 meters. In short, all the comforts for the healthy enjoyment and relaxation of the family.

This photograph that is part of my personal file, I took it during a holiday December with my family, and later I modified it using the filters and editing tools provided by PicsArt, for which I used a filter type HDR (High Dynamic Range) that allows a greater amplitude of tones than the filters usually used, and then, a simple filter of Black & White, in order to share it with this community.
