Rosslerys the purple wind mutant

Very good morning dear community, welcome once again to my art blog, today I bring you a drawing something different and it is Rosslerys the mutant of the purple wind, days ago I was watching again the X-MEN movies on TV and it occurred to me to paint something in relation to the mutation as seen in this kind of movies, in this case I drew Rosslerys which is a beautiful girl with purple skin and particular hair which has the ability to manipulate nature, plants, trees, ect, all this thanks to her mutation with which she was born, it inspires me a couple of days ago to make this drawing and today I decide to share it with you here and I hope you like it:

Muy buenos días querida comunidad, sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog de arte, hoy les traigo un dibujo algo diferente y se trata de Rosslerys la mutante del viento purpura, hace días estaba viendo de nuevo las películas de los X-MEN en la televisión y se me ocurrió pintar algo en relación a la mutación como se ve en este tipo de películas, en este caso dibuje a Rosslerys la cual es una hermosa chica de piel purpura y cabello particular la cual tiene la capacidad de manipular la naturaleza, plantas, arboles, ect, todo esto gracias a su mutación con la cual nació, me inspira hace un par de días a realizar este dibujo y hoy decido compartirlos con ustedes aquí y espero les guste:

PROCESS / PROCESO

I started with my sketch without a concrete idea, first I had the idea of making her with small antennas and half elongated ears, but then I decided not to do it that way because it would give more the impression of being an alien or an elf, and as my idea was that she was a mutant, that's why I drew her as humanoid as possible, with common features and let the painting appreciate more the mutant aspects.

Comencé con mi boceto sin una idea concreta, primero tuve la idea hacerla con pequeñas antenas y orejas medio alargadas, pero luego opte por no hacerlo así pues daría más la impresión de ser una alienígena o a una elfa, y como mi ideas era que fuera una mutante es por ello que la dibuje lo mas humanoide posible, con rasgos comunes y deje que con el pintado se apreciaran mas los aspectos de mutante.

I started by painting the areas of the skin in a light purple color as a base, then over that purple I used darker shades of purple to give depth to the skin, then with extremely light shades I gave details of light to the skin and managed to get more volume for Rosslerys.

Inicie pintando las zonas de la piel en un color purpura claro como base, luego sobre ese purpura use tonalidades más oscura de purpura para darle profundidad a la piel, luego con tonalidades sumamente claras le di detalles de luz a la piel y logre conseguir más volumen para Rosslerys.

For the eyes I wanted to do something special, that's why I applied a first base of dark gray and then I painted the iris so that it looked a bit like the eyes of a reptile, this because of its mutation, then I painted the hair and for it I used a watercolor brush as a base and then I added shadows and lights throughout this area, finally I painted the thin and thin locks in light and dark tones of a warmer purple.

Para los ojos quise hacer algo especial, es por ello que aplique una primera base de gris oscuro y luego el iris lo pinte de modo que se viera un poco como los ojos de un reptil, esto debido a su mutación, luego pinte el cabello y para el utilice un pincel acuarela como base y luego fui añadiendo sombras y luces por toda esta zona, por último pinte los mechones finos y delgados en tonos claros y oscuros de un purpura más cálido.

For the background I wanted to paint a kind of wind swirl, for this I used a brush with a rough shape and in graduated opacity, I painted some waves in darker purple and finally I added some last leaves or flower petals that were flying with the swirl that Rosslerys controls, because as I mentioned before are part of his mutation.

Para el fondo quise pintar una especie de remolino de viento, para ello emplee un pincel con forma rugosa y en opacidad graduada, pinte algunas ondas en purpura más oscuro y por ultimo añadí unas ultimas hojas o pétalos de flores que fueran volando con el remolino que controla Rosslerys, pues como mencione anteriormente forman parte de su mutación.

Finally I added a little more lighting in saturated tones and a little more depth to my drawing, plus I added some final details to the front of the drawing.

Por último agregue un poco mas de iluminación en tonalidad saturada y un poco mas profundad a mi dibujo, además de añadir unos últimos detalles finales a la parte frontal del dibujo.
