Good Day everyone. There is another new contest here in our community and as an active member, I will present to you the ideas and I believe, that it can be in the main topic, which is the Writing Contest. This knowledge I have about to share, contains information and part of my research and I have added my little knowledge about it. What I am going to share with you is Oatmeal food. We know that most of us, tend to eat oatmeal. They said, it is not against our body. Eating oatmeal is a good news to people who want to have a healthy body.

Oatmeal can be bought even in small stores or groceries, it's easy to cook or prepare, it's delicious and it's not too heavy on our pocket.

It lowers bad cholesterol. The best benefit it can give to our body that has been proven in the studies that have been done is to lower the low density lipoprotein. Soluble fiber is found in oatmeal and also in fruits that have high protein such as guavas, strawberries, legumes, seeds and psyllium.

In two studies published in the Journal of the Medical Association, it was found that ½ of a serving or ½ of a cup of cooked oatmeal is enough to get the necessary cholesterol reduction every day. It was also proven in the real situation to one hundred people in Colorado USA who participated in a challenge or test. During the 30-day program, participants volunteered to eat one bowl of oatmeal each day. After 30 days, it was found that 98 percent of the participants lowered their cholesterol levels.

Oatmeal can lower blood pressure. Since the late 1970s there have been about 20 studies done to examine the relationship between dietary fiber and blood pressure. In general, the blood pressure decreased with the tuning that was not related to age, weight and other factors. The reduction comes from eating more soluble fiber.

In a study conducted on patients with high blood pressure who ate oatmeal daily, it was shown that the systolic pressure decreased as well as the diastolic pressure.

Oatmeal also improves insulin sensitivity. Recent studies have shown that eating soluble fiber can improve insulin sensitivity. It also helps to control or control appetite. The soluble fiber in oat and oat bran can absorb large amounts of water.

Oatmeal can gives us more good benefits to our body. This will help to keep our body stay healthy.

Nice writing, informative. Before this was our favorite breakfast but with high uric acid I stopped eating and change my diet to low carb.

Oatmeal is good, especially for individuals like me who are hypertensive. I include it in my breakfast every day with fruits like strawberries, bananas, and raisins.
