On my way to pick-up some soft rolls at Handy Pantry, they have a sale every Sunday a dozen for $2.49, I stopped for some wild Turkeys. They were crossing the road in their leisure time, definitely not in a trot.
You can tell the males from what they call a beard. Feathers hanging down under their chest.
After I got the rolls decided to shoot over to Southaven County Park to take some pictures. When I got back there was a single Turkey under my bird feeder. Had to shoot through the window for these photos.
This one started to walk away briskly, so didn't get a good picture.
