QUOGUE VILLAGE BEACH

When you think of eastern long Island you think of the Hamptons... Southampton, East Hampton and the rest. An area that has attracted the rich and famous for it's rural beauty, ocean access and scenic harbors and bays.
Little known Quogue is just the way they want it to be known. An incorporated village since 1929, Quogue has maintained a stable wholesome image. It's has a small area of less than 5 square miles with a population of about 1,000.
The homes are grand with prices starting at one million for anything decent.
Residents of Quogue have free access to the Atlantic ocean through their Village beach. These picture's were take from there.
I would love to live in Quogue... It is one of my dream places to live... Been looking on zillow to see if I could find something I could afford..need more room for the 11 cats.... Another great feature of living in Quogue are the low taxes. Most areas on Long Island the schools make the property taxes very high. Quogue having a small area has just one grade school K-6 with only about 100 students... The older students have the option of going to mid and high schools in the adjacent districts.

It’s better to have distance away from the beach, just in case of storms or water surge! Weather around the world will change more often as the north pole is in the process of flipping!
Yes I agree, not to live to close to the ocean... Just close enough to enjoy it...:-)
