40 Years Later, Has Anything Changed?
Here is a video from 1975. It is a bit of satire yet it does drive the point home.
In the video, it spells out a few stats about the percentage of stocks owned by the wealthy. Has that changed any?
Issues that were a problem in 1975 still exist today. The question is how come thing have not changed or improved for many in spite of huge economic progress over that time?
This video was filmed before the massive move toward automation that started a little more than a decade later. It is another added burden that few considered over the decades.

How about on the lower end of the economic strata? Looks like we made quite a bit of progress in 40 years. Back then nearly 50% of the world's population lived in threat of starvation, now less than 9%. And that was done without any universal basic income. And it was done outside the 1st world socialistic welfare state with its wealth redistribution programs. It was mostly done in poor countries marginally improving their economic freedoms.
Even if we have another 40 years it still wont change
