I will show how gold and silver trading evolved from the evolution of ancient civilization in Mesopotamia or what is present-day Iraq about 6000 years ago.
We can see that early on the relative abundance of silver relative to gold made silver the preferred metal for everyday monetary transactions and how gold being rarer was more of a store of wealth.
