Financial and Geopolitical Instability Bubbling Under the Surface.
In this report, I cover the early market action from London on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, the bond market and the price of WTI and Brent crude oil.
Today I will look at the geopolitical situation as it pertains to Turkey and its incursion into Syria and how despite being given the green light by President Trump to go after the Kurds in Syria it looks like the U.S. administration will now impose sanctions on Turkey!
As for the financial side of the instability equation, I will be looking at the Dutch Central Bank which today issued more warnings about low interest rates and increased capital requirements for banks issuing mortgages by €3 billion. It was only a couple of days ago that the same institution said that after the next financial crisis or collapse gold would be required to revive the system.
My conclusion for today is that even though things might be looking just fine above the surface under the surface there seems to be a great deal of instability bubbling up.
