Legal Plunder Is Par for the Course for the Bank of England.
In this report, I cover the early market action from London on Monday, November 12th, 2018. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, and the bond market.
Today I look at the current controversy surrounding the Bank of England's reluctance to allow of its clients, the Venezuelan State, to withdraw its own gold from the Bank of England. I note that this kind of nefarious activity is nothing new and that when the Germans invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938 the Bank of England actually transferred Czech gold held at the Bank of England to the Reichsbank account at the Bank of England and at the BIS.
I also talk briefly about my week away in Tenerife with family and how I was actually able to spend a bit of my gold held at my Glint account.
